Sims hired as an associate attorney at SBH

Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris LLC (SBH) is pleased to announce Julie Sims has joined the firm as an associate attorney.

Sims’ practice will primarily focus on general employment litigation and counseling. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2018, and she previously interned with the Honorable Robert E. Larsen, Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court Western District of Missouri.

While in law school at UMKC, Sims served in various leadership roles, including a tenure as an articles editor for The Urban Lawyer.

“We are extremely excited to have Julie on our bench as she begins her legal career,” said Kim Jones, SBH managing member. “The firm looks forward to helping her continue to develop her skills while adding to our culture that promotes teamwork to obtain the best possible results for our clients. We believe Julie will be an asset as we continue to provide the legal services SBH’s clients have come to expect.”

Prior to entering law school, Sims received her Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in Spanish and music from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
